I love text messaging! I use it on my cell phone all the time. I also IM with my sister on a regular basis. We haven't used these in the library as of yet. I think it would be a great way to open the lines of communication with the younger aged group as well as the busy people all around us.

The online image generator is pretty cool! I think it would be a fun idea to make a puzzle or trading card as presents and now I know I can do it!

Mash up looks fun too! I think I'll play around with the flickr stuff first, but it's nice to know there's even more out there in the great big computer world!

Flickr is AWESOME!!! I am so excited to use it on my home PC! The information was easy to follow and I love how I can arrange my pictures so many different ways.

RSS is really cool! It will deinately help speed up my daily searches. I spend so much time going to individual websites that this will be a very useful tool for me.

I found the information very interesting. I'm excited to see that the librarians I work with are already trying to implement some of these ideas. We have already hosted a gaming program at our local branch and are hoping to do more of the same in 2008. It's also interesting to know that some people don't think of this as a fact when it already exists all around us. Like in everything we have to keep up with the times and let's face it our future is all about tehnology.
