I use it on my cell phone all the time. I also IM with my sister on a regular basis. We haven't used these in the library as of yet. I think it would be a great way to open the lines of communication with the younger aged group as well as the busy people all around us.Chatty Cari loves to Readhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10619429400230128865noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8822959879667621200.post-6809762739700603342008-02-29T06:50:00.000-08:002008-02-29T06:51:48.712-08:00Thing 6The online image generator is pretty cool! It will deinately help speed up my daily searches. I spend so much time going to individual websites that this will be a very useful tool for me.Chatty Cari loves to Readhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10619429400230128865noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8822959879667621200.post-32365372043259658082008-02-04T17:25:00.000-08:002008-02-13T12:11:44.531-08:00Thing 2I found the information very interesting. I'm excited to see that the librarians I work with are already trying to implement some of these ideas. We have already hosted a gaming program at our local branch and are hoping to do more of the same in 2008. It's also interesting to know that some people don't think of this as a fact when it already exists all around us. Like in everything we have to keep up with the times and let's face it our future is all about tehnology.Chatty Cari loves to Readhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10619429400230128865noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8822959879667621200.post-66311915547150274992008-02-04T14:29:00.000-08:002008-02-04T14:36:25.411-08:00Where oh where books go...Have you ever thought of all the places the books we read go? We bring them on vacation to wonderful places, doctor's appointments, restaurants, and so much more.

I was at my daughter's gymnastics class last week reading "90 Minutes in Heaven" when I was approached by two other mother's. One asked about the book I was reading and the other told me she read the same book while on a business trip a couple of weeks ago.

It got me thinking if only books themselves could talk, what stories they could tell.Chatty Cari loves to Readhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10619429400230128865noreply@blogger.com1
